Notification of The 7th Kumho Asiana Korean Speech Contest 2018

5. Mode of conducting the contest
1) Round-up: The jury grading the contestant’s clip has been sent

2) Final Round: Speaking 2 minutes in presentation form (PPT), Quiz

6. Subject: Candidates select the title and free speech content in the given subject

①“내가 생각하는 20년 후의 베트남 ” (Vietnam after 20 years in my thought)

②“내가 생각하는 20년 후의 나 ” (I after 20 years in my thought)

7. The Award for the Final Round

※ Candidates should be prepared to travel to Korea if they are selected for the final round. When announcing the results, we will guide.

8. Dossier submission form

File	1) A copy of the signed Student Application Form 2) File clip turns contestants speech test (02 minutes) 3) Speech file (01 Korean version + 01 Vietnamese translation) 4) A scanned copy of the Certificate of Study at the school (Signed and stamped by the school or department head) 5) 01 scans of all passports with exit and visa stamps 6) 01 self portrait image (Selfie is also accepted)

9. Guidelines and regulations on documents to be submitted
1) How to write an application form
– Download the application form on the website of the Fund, in Korean and Vietnamese
– Paste a personal 3×4 photo (required) taken in the last 06 months

2) Preparation Guide for the Elimination Round
① Clip rules
– The content of the selected topic is limited to 02 minutes
– Clip record the scene of the candidate to speech about his/her article, request to memorize, do not look at the document to read. (When the clip must pay attention, rotate the screen straight)

② Articles Regulations
– MS Word, Korean (font Batangche, size 11), Vietnamese (font Times New Roman, size 12)
– The top part of the article contains the candidate’s information

③ How to submit a participation test
– The application must be put in a folder and then re-edit the name as follows:
For example: Hanoi (City name, not sealed) – DHHN (name of school) – Nguyen Thi Anh (Full name)
– Download the Google Drive + zip file to the Foundation’s email address,
Before sending the check clip file there is a problem, and have to share mode.

3) Preparation guide for Final Round
– Candidates who are selected for the Final Round must submit before September 21st:
① Power point file (3 pages) contains images related to the article content
② The 02-minute Korean speech develops the subject matter of the Speech-type speech (including the Vietnamese translation)
10. Restrictions of Participation and Reason for Disqualification
① If you have been in Korea for more than 6 months (total number of uninterrupted stay), received 2nd prize in Korean language contest in the past.
② Koreans whose parents are not allowed to participate. Upon detection of the falsehood of the submitted or copying of the creation of another person, the contestant will be deprived of his / her eligibility.
